Fun/Romantic Design  *  Under Budget  *  10% of Brain Power

After my best friend and I decided to get engaged, I had a blast designing our wedding collateral. I bought Segol Typeface after crushing on it for years and a few premade eucalyptus vectors and ornate type elements. Designing the wedding landing page was an easy way to collect all the information and sprinkle in more information about our story.

The biggest hit was Moo.com’s printfinity business cards which we used for “fun fact” cards. We worked together to create 50 facts about us (with a 200 character limit) and printed each fact on the back of a business card. Some were specific to the person and some were more general like “Taylor still opens the car door for Laura”.

One of my favorite moments our photographer captured, was Aunt Cindy turning her card over. We took an inside family joke (“Cobra Germs” = “Butterfly kisses”) and made our guests feel appreciated.

Adding framed photos to our at-home desks and in-office desks helps us both remember what we look forward to when we close our laptops. A fun addition to my office flair. And, yes, I’m now “Mrs. Nesbitt”.
